Feel free to contact us with additional questions. Thank you.
Humans are not designed to drink cow's milk. Even though we are breast-fed mammals, we lose the digestive enzymes to break down milk at the age of 2. Milk over-burdens the stomach, which lowers our immunity.
Organic Emporium carries many non-dairy and gluten-free alternatives that taste great and are easily digested, such almond milk, rice milk, oat milk, and hemp milk.
Soy contains phytoestrogens which can cause hormone imbalances (think mood swings and cysts) and are extremely dangerous for recovering cancer patients.
We are also very picky about other soy products. If the soy is not organic, it almost definitely has hexane residue from the manufacturing. The FDA does not regulate the level of hexane residue in non-organic soy, and so it is undetermined just how much poisoning is in it. We carry organic roasted soy nuts for snacking and organic bulk soybeans, but we would rather not carry any products with soy ingredients.
Everything in cans have been cooked in the can. This process not only leaks a bad taste in the food, but it also leaks toxic metal into the food. Most cans are lined with plastic containing Bisphenol A (BPA). BPA acts like a synthetic hormone and leaks into the food just the same as metal. BPA is toxic.
At Organic Emporium, all our soups are packaged in safe tetra paks.
